Meta Muse Tutorial: Skip the Waitlist, Sign Up via Cloud Desktop, and Get Started
What this article solves: Meta Muse shot to the top of the US App Store, but plenty of people download it and hit one of two walls — a "not available" error, or "you've been added to the waitlist". This guide gives you two tested workarounds, says exactly what to type at each step and what to do when it fails, and covers what to do once you're in.

What is Muse

Muse is Meta's personal AI agent launched on September 8, 2026, powered by its proprietary multimodal model, Muse Spark.
Unlike ChatGPT, which primarily answers questions, Muse is designed to take action on your behalf — comparing prices and making purchases, processing emails, organizing calendars, and booking trips, then summarizing the results for you.
Three things relevant to signup:
- Only open to the US and Canada. This is why direct visits get blocked.
- Runs in the cloud, not on your device. Meta provisions a persistent Linux environment for each user.
- Generous free usage. Meta aims to monetize through transaction commissions rather than monthly subscriptions.
Before You Start: Three Requirements
All three are required for this workaround:
① A connection capable of accessing external networks. Direct access without proper geolocation will be blocked.
② A cloud browser account (choose one):
- Google AI Pro account: to invoke Spark inside Gemini and launch a cloud desktop (Method 1)
- browser-use account: web-based, no Google AI Pro needed (Method 2)
If you have neither, proceed directly to Method 2.
③ An age-verification method (choose one): Credit card, Instagram account, or Facebook account. Linking IG or FB is the easiest (see Age Verification).
Why You Get Blocked
Case 1: Not Available

This is a geographic restriction. Your network exit point is outside the supported regions.
Case 2: Added to the Waitlist

This is the queue system. Your application was submitted, but your turn hasn't arrived.
Neither can be bypassed locally. The solution for both is the same: execute the entire signup inside an overseas cloud desktop, routing all requests from an eligible region.
Method 1: Gemini Spark Cloud Desktop
Requires a Google AI Pro account.
Step 1: Open Spark in Gemini

Open the web version of Gemini, click Spark next to Chat, or go directly to https://gemini.google.com/spark.
Step 2: Send Command to Launch Desktop

In the input box, enter:
Open google in remote browserGrant the requested takeover permissions when prompted.
Step 3: Verify the Cloud Desktop

Once you see this interface, proceed to The Registration Flow: Seven Steps.
Method 2: browser-use Cloud Browser
No Google AI Pro required — lower barrier to entry.
Step 1: Sign In
Go to and log in at https://cloud.browser-use.com/.
Step 2: Select Browser

Step 3: Launch Cloud Browser

Click Launch & Open in the upper right. A browser window will appear. Proceed to The Registration Flow.
The Registration Flow: Seven Steps
The process inside muse.ai is identical regardless of which method you used to get there.
Step 1 | Open the Signup Page

Enter https://muse.ai/ in the cloud desktop's address bar and press Enter.
Step 2 | Enter Email and Get Verification Code

Enter an active email, check your inbox for the code, and enter it.
If you don't receive the code, switch to an international provider (like Gmail or Outlook) and try again.
Step 3 | Enter Your Age

Must be over 18.
Step 4 | Read Overview, Click Get Started

A "A few things to know" screen explains that Muse works on your behalf 24/7. Click Get started.
Step 5 | Complete Age Verification

Choose one of three options (see Age Verification below).
Step 6 | Enter Payment Info (Card Flow Only)

You will be redirected to Meta's payment page. Only three fields need input:
| Field | What to Enter |
|---|---|
| Card number, Exp, CVV | Enter valid card details |
| Country or region | Select United States |
| ZIP code | Enter a valid US ZIP code (e.g., 19901) |
Click Confirm.

A $1 temporary authorization will be placed and refunded in 5–7 business days. It simply confirms adult status — it is not a recurring subscription.
Step 7 | Confirm Registration Success

When you see the chat interface with Connected on the right, you are in.

Initial tokens may be limited. Enter invite code GQ35T9 to claim an additional 1 billion Muse tokens within 48 hours of signup.
What to Do After Sign-Up: First Steps & Use Cases
Once activated, try these high-value tasks to experience Muse's agent capabilities:
- Authorize External Services (Connectors)
Head into Settings to link Google Drive, Gmail, or Google Calendar. Ask Muse: "Summarize my unread emails from today and highlight any action items." - Autonomous Web Research
Give it a goal: "Compare the top 3 open-source coding agents in 2026, list their GitHub stars and supported LLMs, and format the result as a table." Muse will browse the web in its cloud environment and return a structured report. - Task Automation & Follow-ups
Because Muse maintains an ongoing Linux environment, you can ask it to check a web page periodically or prepare a recurring summary.
Age Verification: Choosing Your Method
| Method | What You Need | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Confirm age | A valid card | Anyone without Instagram or Facebook |
| Link Instagram account | Instagram account | Anyone with IG (easiest, no card hold) |
| Link Facebook account | Facebook account | Anyone with FB |
If you have an IG or FB account, link it directly to avoid the temporary card authorization.
Note: When using a card, select United States as Country/Region and enter a real US ZIP code (such as 19901). Mismatches will trigger automated fraud checks.

Summary
Regional gating and the waitlist cannot be bypassed from restricted locations. The reliable solution is to run the entire registration sequence inside a remote cloud desktop located within an open region.
Method 2 has the lowest barrier to entry. Once registered, log into the mobile app as soon as possible to keep your session active across devices.
